Clements Professional Fellows

Clements Professional Fellows are scholars and practitioners affiliated with the Clements Center through teaching, research, mentorship, and public engagement. Their ranks include former senior officials and military officers, UT Austin faculty, scholars at partner institutions, and members of the Center's advisory boards. Professional fellows are appointed in the following categories.

Distinguished National Security Fellows

Distinguished National Security Fellows are the Center's most senior fellows, individuals who have served at the highest levels of government, the military, or the national security profession and who maintain a sustained affiliation with the Center's teaching and programs.

Senior National Security Fellows

Senior National Security Fellows are accomplished practitioners from government, the military, and the private sector who engage regularly with the Center through teaching, mentorship, and participation in its programs.

Emeritus National Security Fellow

Emeritus National Security Fellows are distinguished leaders and scholars who have made significant contributions to the Clements Center and to the field of national security. They are valued members of the Clements Center community and are honored for their service, expertise, and enduring friendship with the Center.
