The Undergraduate Fellows Program

Our Undergraduate Fellows Program supports students interested in national security careers through reading groups, meetings with distinguished scholars and policy leaders, and professional mentorship.

Biweekly meetings open to all UT students to discuss topics in national security, led by Clements Center Undergraduate Fellows. During this lively discussion hour, students debate ideas, gain experience leading conversations on complex issues, and learn more about diverse topics in foreign policy.

London May Term: The U.S., U.K., and World Order

A partnership with the world-renowned War Studies Department at King’s College London which provides exemplary undergraduate students the opportunity to learn firsthand about the Anglo-American tradition of history and strategic studies.

Korea May Term: American History, Strategy, & the Future of the Indo-Pacific Region

In collaboration with a leading Korean university, this May Term offers students the opportunity to gain a firsthand understanding of the U.S. alliances in Korea and Japan, as well as historical relationships.

Texas Intelligence Academy (TIA)

Offers a competitively-chosen group of UT-System undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about U.S. intelligence through lectures by distinguished scholars and practitioners, moderated discussions, simulation exercises, and visits to intelligence-related sites in the Washington, D.C. area.

Awarded to UT students and professors for research and presentations at academic conferences.
