Predoctoral Fellow Zoltán Fehér’s recent work in Hungary

On March 16, he gave a lecture on Hungarian foreign policy, the war in Ukraine, and U.S.-Hungary relations at Central European University. On March 29, he presented his doctoral research on post-Cold War U.S. strategy toward China at Corvinus University of Budapest. He spoke on the war in Ukraine at a discussion of foreign policy experts organized by the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade on March 24 and at an international roundtable at Corvinus University on March 29. He also met with Timothy Garton Ash (University of Oxford) to discuss the Hungarian elections, Hungary’s foreign policy, and Russia’s war against Ukraine. While he was in Budapest, Zoltán gave interviews to the Czech State Television, This American Life, Hungarian political weekly Jelen, and financial newspaper Privatbankar.hu.
