Brett Cook

  • Outreach Assistant for Military Programs

Brett Cook holds the position of Outreach Assistant for Military Programs within the Clements Center for National Security at the University of Texas at Austin. In this capacity, he collaborates closely with military stakeholders on campus, with a primary emphasis on supporting the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) commands, which encompass Air/Space Force, Army, and Navy/Marines programs. Brett plays a pivotal role in enhancing outreach efforts and recruitment initiatives, aiming to expand both the ROTC program’s participant base and overall visibility across the 40 Acres.

Before joining the Clements Center, Brett was a US Naval Aviator logging over 1,800 flight hours in the E-6b Mercury (TACAMO) and the T-6II Texan.

Brett has a Master’s in Education from the University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Sonoma State University where he was a NCAA All-American Soccer Player.
