Benjamin Yarckin

Benjamin Yarckin is a second-year Ph.D. student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. His research examines how urban terrain constrains military operations, unpacking the dilemmas this environment creates. In doing so, he highlights the unique ways urban warfare shapes grand strategy. Before joining LBJ, he earned his M.A. in International Security from George Mason University.
