On Friday, April 10, the South Asia Institute, the McCombs School of Business, the Clements Center for National Security, the Strauss Center for International Security and Law, and the Global Sustainability and Leadership Institute hosted an all-day conference, “India at 100: Decades of Decisions.”

ABOUT:

UT’s first-ever conference on India’s economic and political future. Whatever you can rightly say about India, the opposite is also true. Joan Robinson captured India’s paradox decades ago—and it’s never been more relevant than right now.

1.4 billion people. The world’s largest democracy. An economy at an inflection point. Infrastructure ambitions that defy gravity. Governance at a scale humanity has never attempted.

India at 100 will be shaped by decisions made in the next decades.
