Hitler’s American Gamble: Pearl Harbor and Germany’s March to Global War (Basic Books, 2021), written with Brendan Simms, is a global account of the most critical week in the diplomatic history of the twentieth century. And Donald Trump: The Making of a Worldview (I.B. Tauris, 2017), also with Brendan Simms, was the first academic monograph to examine President Trump’s pre-presidential views on foreign policy.
