Phoebe Cosgrove

Phoebe Cosgrove is a rising senior on the Forty Acres, majoring in Social Work with a focus on clinical social work and minoring in Critical Disability Studies. She hopes to pursue a master’s degree in social work to further her commitment to clinical practice and advocacy. Her interest in national security blends nicely with her social work degree, combining interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, empathy, teamwork, and dedication to well-being. Phoebe is an Undergraduate Fellow at the Clement Center, and ecstatic to be part of such an outstanding program. On the Forty Acres, Phoebe was nominated by the School of Social Work and selected as one of forty students to join the inaugural cohort of the Texas Trailblazers: Gay Gaddis Leadership Program, where she is engaging in workshops and discussions with top business leaders and building a lifelong network of ambitious peers. Additionally, Phoebe works as a peer mentor at the School of Social Work where she has the opportunity to work with the freshman class, guiding them through their first year of college. Phoebe is looking forward to her senior year with The Clements Center and continuing to build relationships and explore all areas of national security with the Undergraduate Fellows and staff at The Clements Center.
