 Lucy Schulz

Lucy Schulz is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Civic Leadership and pursuing the National Security and International Business minor through the Clements Center. Her academic foundation in classical education has shaped her approach to leadership, drawing her to explore the connections between history, law, and global diplomacy.

This past summer, she participated in the Clements Center’s South Korea May Term program, an unforgettable experience where she engaged with Indo-Pacific strategy, U.S. foreign policy, and the legacy of American leadership in East Asia.

Lucy is committed to a career focusing on understanding and addressing complex national security issues, particularly those that challenge the balance between power, justice, and human dignity. She is eager to continue deepening her understanding of these challenges while examining the role of character, conviction, and thoughtful leadership in shaping strategic and effective policy.
