Aarushi Garg

Aarushi Garg is a third-year student at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a double major in International Relations & Global Studies and Plan II Honors, with certificates in Public Policy and Business Spanish. She is interested in the intersection of national security, emerging technology, and diplomacy. Aarushi has studied Urdu in Lucknow through the U.S. Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship and serves as a Cybersecurity Analyst at UT Austin’s Regional Security Operations Center, where she supports local governments in improving digital resilience. She recently competed in two Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenges, where she policy responses to simulated cyber crises, and she is already eyeing the next round! Having spent her formative years in India before completing high school in North Carolina, Aarushi brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work in international policy.
