Kishlaya Rastogi
Kishlaya Rastogi is a senior Clements fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Government and Sociology with minors in Business, History, and Social & Behavioral Sciences, and the Clements Center’s Security Studies certificate. He focuses on national security, the Indo-Pacific, and disinformation. Kishlaya has led research teams working on global disinformation policy at the Global Disinformation Lab and European defense-industrial policy at Innovations for Peace and Development. His prior work experience includes interning with the Department of State’s Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, and working in national security.
Kishlaya traveled to South Korea to explore regional diplomacy and security with the Clements Center in 2024, and attended the Texas Intelligence Academy to learn about the U.S. intelligence community in 2025. He will continue his work in national security as an Archer Fellow. On campus, Kishlaya was formerly president of the International Affairs Society and vice president of the Liberal Arts Council. Kishlaya plans on pursuing a career in D.C. before going to graduate school for national security or international relations.
