Katie Harwood

Katherine Harwood is a second-year PhD student in the Department of History at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on counterinsurgency campaigns, strategy, and population control in Southeast Asia and the Middle East during the decolonial period, with a special focus on the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
