Caroline Nicholson

Caroline Nicholson is the Assistant Events Coordinator at the Asia Policy Program, a joint initiative of the Clements and Strauss Centers that focuses on the region’s importance to American foreign policy and security; she also supports student programming at the Clements Center. Before joining the program, Caroline completed her studies in International Security at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and received her degree in International Relations and Global Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in December 2021. Caroline was also a student research intern for Karl Rove & Company as well as a former undergraduate fellow at the Clements Center, where she had the opportunity to participate in the center’s London Maymester program and in summer programs at the Hertog Foundation and the Institute of the Study of War. Her research interests include the Korean peninsula and its relations with the US, Indo-Pacific security & strategy, and world war history.
