Steven Ahart

Steven Ahart is a junior double majoring in International Relations and Global Studies as well as European Studies, concentrating in International Security. Pursuing a certificate in German and Security Studies, he may continue on to a German major if his schedule allows. He is a Terry Scholar and serves as the Director of Service for the Terry Scholars Student Association, is a Liberal Arts Honors student, and a recipient of the Lower-Division Best German Language Award. He is also currently serving as a Crisis Director for Central Texas Model United Nations and hopes to continue this work into the future, as well as researching on the Tearline East Asia team with the Global Disinformation Lab and on the Government Responsiveness team with Innovations for Peace and Development on campus. Steven’s academic research focuses upon the Transatlantic relationship between the US and Europe, specifically on US-German relations which he hopes to continue with the Clements Center and in his professional life.
