Henderson Chandler

Henderson Chandler is a third-year undergraduate majoring in Business Honors, International Relations, and Chinese. He is also a member of AROTC and pursuing a commission in the United States Army. He is a returning Fellow at the Clements Center and recently participated in the London Maymester where learned about the US-UK special relationship from national security scholars and practitioners. His academic interests include US-China relations, irregular warfare doctrine, and the role that tech and business sectors play in defense innovation.

On campus he is a student researcher in the Global (Dis)Information Lab with the CyberPacific team, which aims to increase awareness and effectiveness of allied and partnered military cyber defensive practices in the Indo-Pacific by producing viable policy recommendations to the Army Cyber Institute at West Point. He is also the External VP of Texas Consulting, a pro-bono student strategy consulting group, and a member of Texas Blazers, an honorary service-leadership-spirit organization.

Outside of class, you can find Henderson enjoying the good company, snacks ‘n snibbles, and insights found at Clements speaker events, rucking around Austin, or trying new coffee shops.
