Anna Pate

Anna Pate is a senior studying economics and Plan II Honors with minors in Chinese and government. She spent fall 2022 in Washington, DC as a Bill Archer Fellow, concurrently taking classes and interning in the U.S. Senate. Anna’s other notable college experiences include working as a Student Associate at the Strauss Center, researching disinformation policy through UT’s Global Disinformation Lab, and participating in the Salem Center’s Policy Research Laboratory. She is primarily interested in Asia, national security, trade, technology, and human rights. In her free time, Anna enjoys hiking, reading, hanging out with friends, and taking road trips.
