Angelina Braese

Angelina Braese is a rising senior triple majoring in International Relations, Government, and European Studies within the Liberal Arts Honors program. Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Angelina’s academic interests greatly center on ethnopolitics in the former Yugoslavia and Sino-Russian influence within SE Europe. Angelina has recently returned from spending the spring semester in Croatia, where she took intensive language classes in her native Croatian as a Boren Scholar at the University of Zagreb. On the Forty Acres, Angelina is a (retired) copy desk chief at The Daily Texan, a Brumley NextGen Scholar, and an undergraduate researcher at the Global DisInformation Lab. She is honored to spend another year as an Undergraduate Fellow and looks forward to exploring the nation’s most pressing security issues with her peers.
