On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies hosted a public event, “Confronting the Global Challenge of Preventing Mass Atrocities” with Daniel Solomon.
Dr. Daniel Solomon is a research associate for the Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide, where he conducts research about contemporary genocide and mass atrocities and tools and strategies for their prevention. He has a BA in International Politics and a PhD in Government from Georgetown University, where he completed his dissertation on the determinants of pogrom violence. His academic research about the causes and consequences of political violence has been published in several academic journals and edited volumes.
