Previous Program Spotlights:

The Clements Graduate Fellows program aims to create a sense of community and intellectual exchange among doctoral students in history, political science, area studies, and public affairs. Our Graduate Fellows meet throughout the academic year for discussions with visiting scholars, to critique each other’s scholarly work, and attend a myriad of Clements Center activities such as conferences, lectures, and workshops. Several fellows have received short-term research grants from the Clements Center to visit the National Archives, the Library of Congress, various presidential libraries, and other archives in the United States and overseas.

The solutions to tomorrow’s top international security challenges reside in the minds of today’s students, and the Clements Center’s Undergraduate Fellows Program provides UT’s aspiring policymakers and scholars with opportunities for learning, mentorship, professional development, and research in the fields of defense and foreign policy. Throughout the year, Fellows participate in discussion groups, meet with distinguished guests and visiting speakers, and exchange ideas on their course projects.
