Clements Team Wins 2024 U.S. Army War College Strategy Competition

Congratulations to the Clements Center Strategy Club and the Strategy Teams for their exceptional performance at the U.S. Army War College Strategy Competition! One team, composed of LBJ students Bailey Crane, Caitlin Davis, Dalia Slavin, Kate Van Hecke, Kevin Roberts, and Nicholas Stenseng took first place overall. Another team, including Gabriel Kornas, Isabella Chen, José Gonzales, Kylie Heitzenrater, Simon Rysin, and Timothy Broussard, advanced to semi-finals. A special thank you to Lt. Commander Breanna Strand for serving as an advisor to both teams.

This year’s prompt centered on NATO’s strategy for the War in Ukraine. During the competition, teams explored the diplomatic, information, military, and economic aspects of the war. The student participants also met and networked with a range of civilian policy students and military personnel from around the world. Congratulations again to both teams!
