According to U.S. Central Command, Revolutionary Guard patrol boats were repeatedly harassing American guided missile destroyers on international waters near the Strait of Hormuz. Asked about the confrontation, Dr. Gholz responded “you do have to wonder why any country would want to send out small boats to approach another country’s warship in international waters at high speed, ignoring the target ship’s efforts to communicate.”
