Postdoctoral Fellow participates in Stanford conference

He, along with researchers from China and the Russian Federation, co-authored a paper entitled “Cooperation or Competition? Russia, the United States, and the Elusive Promise of Missile Defense.” That paper will be appearing in a published volume of the conference proceedings next month.

Among those who provided feedback on the paper were former Secretary of State George Shultz (pictured here) and former Secretary of Defense William Perry. Dr. Schultz is on the Clements Center’s Statecraft Board.

Ian had the chance to have breakfast with the two former cabinet officials during the final day of the conference, where they discussed history, policy, and football.
