Clements summer policy intern Imaad Khan at the [br]Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs[/br]

My summer internship at the Berkley Center was an amazing experience. I was not only able to conduct research by getting access to scholarly literature and articles, but I was also given an opportunity to analyze news and social media through the lens of religion and political science. I worked with an amazing scholar who provided me ample opportunities to conduct research as well as other graduate students who shared the same academic interests as myself. I’ve learned a lot about how religion has been discussed and analyzed in the field, as well as how it affects policy at both the federal and international level. My favorite part of my experience was meeting scholars and fellow graduate students who I could learn from and that helped shape my own views on religion and foreign policy.
