TPPF’s Thomas Lindsay: Clements Center launched “renaissance of military and diplomatic studies”

Looking at the decline of military history programs in university history departments despite the ever-present threat of war, Lindsay says The University of Texas at Austin is reversing this trend with the work of the Clements Center.

Lindsay is also the editor of www.SeeThruEdu.com. He was deputy chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities under George W. Bush. He recently published Investigating American Democracy with Gary D. Glenn (Oxford University Press).
