JP is a fourth-year student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing majors in History, Government, and Plan II Honors. His focus on international security has led to deep interests in armed conflict, extremism, and human security. Around campus, JP is involved in illicit finance research for the Innovations for Peace and Development Lab and as a director within Central Texas Model UN. After graduation, he hopes to work in Washington D.C. before attending graduate school. JP is excited to return for a second year as an Undergraduate Fellow, having also previously attended the Clements Center London Maymester. Outside of school, JP enjoys hiking, snow skiing, playing board games, and browsing Twitter.
