"This summer I had the opportunity to intern for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. Working within the Public Diplomacy Office I was involved mainly with the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), a presidential initiative that aims to promote cooperation and solidarity among youth living in the ten ASEAN countries.

In November 2013, the Clements Center, King's College London, and the Strauss Center for International Security and Law co-hosted the conference "Diplomacy, Alliances, and War: Anglo-American Perspectives on History and Strategy in the September 11th Era" on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. Transcripts from the event are now available online.
