Senior Fellow Bobby Chesney Writes “Beyond Snowden: Breaking the security-privacy stalemate”

Professor Chesney recpas Snowden’s monumental departure from the NSA facility in Hawaii with mass amounts of information once thought to be protected by the National Security Agency. He said, “A fierce debate now rages regarding Snowden’s motivations and actions. But as important as that debate may be, we should not allow our views regarding him to obscure the monumental questions of law and policy that his actions have unleashed.”
