Andrew remarks “North Korea is probably the most restrictive human environment in the world. It’s far more restrictive certainly than pre-war Syria or Iran, more restrictive than China or Burma.” He argues that intelligence collection is difficult because very little information comes in or out of the repressive Hermit Kingdom. 

Andrew is currently completing his Ph.D. in international relations on the topic of revisionist states, their proxies, and civil war.
